Manners Level 1
For Pups 9 weeks to adult

This manners class is the perfect entry to positive reinforcement training.
Here are a few things you and your pup will learn:

Level 4
Canine Good Citizen Prep
For Pups who completed Manners Level 1, 2 or 3

This class introduces dog teams to the elements of the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and provides training and guidance on how to achieve success in meeting each element.
Once the prep class is completed, a separate Canine Good Citizen Evaluation test day will scheduled for those wishing to test. Prep class attendees are not required to participate in the CGC Evaluation Test.
Manners Level 2
For Pups who have completed Young Puppy Manners or Polite Pup Manners Level 1
Course Length: 5 weeks, 1 hour class

Choose this class if you have completed Young Puppy Manners, Older Pup Level 1 or Polite Pup Basic Manners. We will continue to build the skills learned in our beginner classes: sit, down, come, hand target, drop it/give, settling on a mat and translate them into polite behavior at home and in public. Our professors will provide lesson plans and help you progress with the skills you have learned as well as build new behaviors that will meet individual needs. There will be group discussion/demos and plenty of time to practice with your pup.
Young Puppy Social and Foundation Skills
For puppies 9 weeks to 20 weeks

Your new puppy is learning constantly. Help him learn that the world is safe and fun. This class shows you how to introduce novel experiences in a posiitive way and sets a firm foundation for both your relationship and your pup's good manners.

Take your training on the road! We will help your pup generalize all of the practice done at home and in class by working our way into real life settings. Emphasis will be on leash walking, calm greetings, ignoring distractions and more.
*PLEASE NOTE: THIS SESSION WE WILL ALSO INTRODUCE ELEMENTS OF THE CANINE GOOD CITIZEN PROGRAM FOR THOSE PREPARING BE EVALUATED. These are great skills for all dogs to learn whether or not you plan to participate in an evaluation.
